テレビの話速変換システムへの高齢者の反応に関する実験的研究

Abstract

As the aged people increase in our society, hearing impaired people are also increasing. The elderly usually spend much more time i TV than any other media in order to get news, information and entertainment, so difficulties in hearing may make the sense of alienation from our society among them. Though the Prime Minister's Office made some policies in "e-Japan Strategies 2004" for disabilities and the elderly, are their plans appropriate enough? In order to verify it, the pilot survey to hearing impaired people and the elderly was conducted in 2004. After that the experimental survey to the elderly was carried out in 2005. The findings show that the policies to secure the right of information access for disabled people and the elderly should be made from their point of view.
