[Subject and Method] The elderly were over 65 years old. They belonged to the two groups,B and C,by using of the Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Scale made by the Ministry of Health & Welfare. The researcher face to face interviewed them and the caregiver. The subjects composed of 12 elderly people and 12 caregivers. [Results] The results were as follows. 1. One half and over of caregiver answered that they felt burden of taking care of the elderly. 2. In the continuing consciousness,8 people (67%) responded that I made up my mind to be with the elderly while the breathes his/her for last. 3. In the interaction between caregiver and the elderly, 12 people said very so to the question,"Die the elderly work hard until now?" 4.
