| Abstract: | For the students of the Department of International Relations and Cross-Cultural Communication at the University of Nagasaki, the short term Study Abroad course became compulsory in 2013. In order for students to safely and fruitfully accomplish the course, a three-step syllabus composed of “Pre-study→Study Abroad→Post-study” instructions was developed. In this paper we discuss the results of the questionnaires administrated to students who participated in the course in the 2013 academic year as well as summer of 2014 are discussed. The change of the participating students’ TOEIC scores in 2013 are also reported. |
