Abstract: | In this paper, we analyze the correlation between "Maslow's hierarchy of needs" and Music Preferences in Female Students in East Asia. Japanese female students' needs are not fulfilled compared with the female students of South Korea or China. In the case of Japan, the female students whom the needs of a low level have satisfied prefer K-POP, and the female students whom all needs have not satisfied prefer Rock Music. In the case of China, the female students whom all needs have not satisfied prefer Anime Songs. In the case of South Korea, the female students whom all needs have satisfied prefer Anglo-American POP. |
