Abstract: This study proposes a new method of the preparation for kamishibai performance. The method applied a cooperative learning approach, KANZU approach, to understand the pictures and stories of kamishibai works better. The significance of the preparation for kamishibai performance and merits of the KANZU approach were discussed.
